A year-long leadership development programme for secondary school
leaders across the South West, focused on improving outcomes for high
attaining pupils – particularly those from disadvantaged backgrounds.

2025/26 contributors:
Jon Eaton is Director of Devon Research School and Research Lead for Education South West, working with schools and other improvement partners in the South West to broaden schools’ understanding of evidence and to provide access to guidance, training and support.
Picture
Jon Hutchinson is Director of Curriculum and Development at the Reach Foundation. His work focuses on supporting schools & trusts to develop cradle to career provision in their communities, as well as building school leadership pipelines through regional headteacher preparation programmes.

Hannah Rolley is Head of Access at Trinity College, Oxford, and leads the development and delivery of the College's award-winning access programme. She develops and leads widening participation programmes focusing on the importance of academic enrichment.

Marc Rowland is the adviser for improving outcomes for disadvantaged learners for the Unity Schools Partnership, and a national authority on improving outcomes for disadvantaged pupils.
